Kiley Wilkens

Kiley Wilkens-O’Brien was born and raised in central Maine. She attended Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland where she earned a double major in anthropology and sociology with a concentration in social justice.

 

Kiley has dedicated her life to health and human services. She is a licensed social worker and a certified death doula. She has served in the child welfare system, the long term care system, and in jail and prison systems. Since earning her Master of Public Policy Planning and Management from the USM Muskie School of Public Service in 2020 she has been working on behavioral health crisis system reform for the State of Maine. Kiley is founder of Covenstead, LLC, a consulting firm which allows her to share her thought leadership, research, and lived wisdom with the states and federal partners like SAMHSA and the VA. 

 

Kiley lives in South Portland with her husband, Sam and their 6 year old Great Dane, Fezzik. She is Director of Youth Services for the South-Portland Cape Elizabeth Rotary Club.
